Born in upstate New York, Laura Cernik had no intention of ever being involved with a film production, let alone acting in one. While she is not a professional actress and has no plans to continue on that path, she immensely enjoyed working on Notes. Laura received a Bachelor's Degree in History and Art History from Hartwick College and a Master's Degree in History from the University of Rochester. She is currently working toward her Master's Degree in Library and Information Science at the University at Buffalo and plans to pursue a career in the library field.In her spare time, she enjoys knitting and watching old films.
